BRISTOL CONCERT WIND BAND

This year (2016) I enjoyed a few months’ work with this community wind band, based in Bristol. The committee and its members have a long history of providing not only ensemble experiences, but tuition and coaching to the adult community of Bristol and the surrounding area. These services span more than 25 years, and include two training ensembles.

I am very grateful to many of the band members for such a warm welcome. It was a real honour and privilege to work with such dedicated, disciplined and talented musicians. During the four months that I worked with the band  we  completed two major engagements, a charity concert in Bath and the bands annual Spring concert in Bristol. I wish them all the very best and hope to see and hear them at one of their events in the not too distant future.

Below are some video excerpts from recent performances.
